We were appointed by a prospective purchaser of the freehold interest to undertake a building survey of a circa 5,900 sq m (63,528 sq ft ) tenanted 1960’s industrial unit.

Our scope of service included:

  • Inspection of the building, including the roofs from an access platform.
  • Preparation of a building survey report to identify the form of construction and areas requiring repair/maintenance as well as commentary on the relevant legal and statutory documentation.
  • Highlighting the property’s potential risks and opportunities.
  • Preparation of a reinstatement cost assessment for building insurance purposes.
